Task
The objective of this project is to apply the laws of Physics, the phenomenon of gravity, and kinematic equations for projectile motion to design and engineer a catapult that can accurately launch a projectile and hit a designated target. This project will also serve as a means to compare experimental data to theoretical data and theorize if the use of kinematic equations and conceptual physics methods can predict the flight of your projectile and if the actual flight of your projectile is supported by these theoretical calculations.
Along with the catapult you will be required to submit a written report highlighting your design plan, data analysis/calculations and your conclusion.
